Corvus-ILS (Incident & Location System)
Built upon the award winning Corvus® infrastructure and originally designed for use within counter terrorism units and other secure environments, the CorvusILS application provides an innovative approach to managing incidents and locations. The system enables comprehensive details to be recorded for incidents and includes the physical layout and design, contacts, contingency plans and a wealth of further information relating to particular locations.
In many situations, there may be a legal or statutory need to record details for incidents that occur at a given location. For example, when a crime is reported or when a breach of health and safety procedures occurs. Even without an obligation to record this information, most organisations recognise the value of this approach because of the benefit it brings in allowing reoccurring problems to be addressed and trends to be identified. The Corvus-ILS application allows customers to categorise the types of incidents that occur, such as fire alarms, criminal acts and requests for maintenance so that these accurately reflect the business requirements.
Corvus-ILS uses a simple and efficient multilevel structure that allows organisations to record details for locations using the most appropriate and effective method to reflect their particular needs. At any level, locations can be assigned to 'groups' for convenience and simplified administration. The application also integrates with an electronic diary so that both historic and future events can be recorded.
Bluestar can also provide a secure off site repository to act as a backup for contingency plans and other data. This service can be activated remotely so that these details can be available even when the local office cannot be used.
