PPI/KPI - Personal/Key Performance Indicators
| Access to individual, group and overall performance information is an invaluable part of modern Police management and control. The establishment of Personal and Key Performance Indicators (PPI/KPI) provides a basis against which ongoing efforts can be assessed and future actions planned. PPI/KPI is an application that allows senior managers, supervisors and individuals to access PPI and KPI data and analysis information based on the associated categories and measures. The underlying data can be sourced from a number of systems such as Command and Control, Custody and Crime Management, in addition to external sources. Data is automatically extracted by the Corvus engine on a regular basis and is subsequently stored in a powerful index structure. This allows PPI/KPI to provide rapid responses to queries without placing any demands on existing systems. PPI/KPI uses the standard Corvus browser interface using navigation familiar to any Internet user. The browser interface and low network requirement makes deployment to remote locations or the use of portable devices practical. PPI Individual Officer Report The Individual Officer Report allows officers or supervisors to view information for a particular individual. Supervisors may access details for staff assigned to them, whereas individuals see only their own report. The output itself consists of an interactive report. | Personal
Information Performance Groupings Typical groups might include details for crime management, call management, penalty notices, stop searches and warrants. For example, details could include the number of incidents attended, arrests made, notices issued and detections for particular crime types. A variety of measures can be adopted including simple counts, ratios or percentages and weightings. In all cases, the report allows the underlying detail to be selected and the current performance plotted on a graph comparing the results against the average for this peer group. |

KPI Area Comparison This module allows Key Performance Indicators to be compared for different organisational units. A variety of categories and measures can be used as a point of comparison from force-wide to block level. Comparisons produce graphical and tabular representations of the performance of one location against another for a given set of criteria. |

| PPI Section/Unit Performance This module allows users to measure the performance of their organisational structure at a variety of levels including Force, BCU/Area, Neighbourhood and Block. Officer Events This module provides a central point to search for any event relating to an officers duties, arrests, crime investigations and custody etc. The Officer Events module allows for searches based on multiple criteria, with the results optionally being sorted using any of the summary headings. The range of data available and searching criteria makes this one of the most powerful Corvus modules. |
