Crime Statistics - Essential Information and Analysis

All charts allow users to select a date period and use a range of categories and organisational units. When the user has completed their selection, the chart is generated and the information display is updated with the relevant detail. In addition, all charts integrate with the standard Corvus Map Viewer module and data extraction mechanism. This allows information to be exported for further analysis. |

Ad-Hoc Reporting This option provides the ability to select any combination of date range, category and organisational unit for the chart display. This can be combined with target information to look at performance over specific time periods. |

Crime Figures This module creates displays based on current performance compared to any set targets. Projections are calculated to inform users of the situation at the close of the period, such as the end of the month or the end of the year. |

Performance Indicators This module shows reports based on the performance at a number of levels within the organisation. For example Force, Area/BCU or Neighbourhood. These are displayed in the context of the Key Performance Indicators defined. |

Target Comparison This module generates information regarding how a Force or BCU is performing with regard to its target for the period to date. The reports can be broken down into all crime or crime categories and/or by BCU/Area. As an additional feature, the current performance can be measured against previous periods. |

Trend Analysis This module focuses on the level of all crimes and crime by category against Force wide, BCU/Area and Neighbourhood performance related to current and historical data and overall targets. |

Standard Deviation This module shows all crimes by category for Force, BCU/Areas and Neighbourhood measured against the Standard Deviation over the relevant crime categories. This can help to determine statistical trends. |
