Chronicle Incident Recording System      Person Details      Reporting

Chronicle can be configured for a number of incident types, such as fire alarms, suspicious packages, lockouts, security breaches, warnings and telephone reports. For each recorded incident or event a variety of information may be captured. This can include the location, dates and times, related individuals, images and notes. In addition, officers or other staff can be assigned to investigate the incident, or tasked with further actions based on the outcome. Chronicle can also link via email to provide tasking and alerting for individuals, departments or external agencies that are not part of the core application group.

Work flow and a flexible security layer form part of the base release. Incidents are not accessible within the system until authorised by a supervisor. At this time the grading and sensitivity of the incident is also assigned to ensure that only relevant personnel can access the details of a particular record. This allows basic details to be widely disseminated while personal information is withheld.

The Chronicle reporting extension delivers a variety of 'standard' reports providing a wealth of management information and can also be configured to emulate official forms and documents. Reporting uses the geographical and/or hierarchical structure of the organisation in combination with other parameters – i.e. date ranges, incident types, assigned users - to deliver maximum benefit and flexibility.
