| April 2008 This year Bluestar is celebrating our 10 year anniversary. To mark the occasion we will be arranging an activity and social day for our customers. Details to be announced shortly! January 2008 ACPO-APA 2008 International Policing Exhibition Once again Bluestar is looking forward to exhibiting at this years ACPO-APA conference to be held at the new Liverpool Arena & Conference Centre on 25-26 June 2008. We will be demonstrating our full Corvus product set as well as some exciting new developments. December 2007 Corvus BlackBerry Location Engine
October 2007 Development is currently under way on our enhanced Corvus mapping functionality we have named "Orion". This is based on an extended mapping engine that includes instant dragging/scrolling and zooming of maps in a browser environment. Other features include real-time or historical plotting of resources onto maps, for example, officers and vehicle positions from a Command and Control system or direct from GPS enabled devices. Full product details will be released in 2008. August 2007 A new initiative for 2007/2008, Bluestar's Corvus Training Academy offers a comprehensive training portfolio to meet your individual operational needs. Our Workshop programme is built on a set of intensive and interactive sessions. Courses are primarily offered as half day sessions to enable delegates to tailor their own requirements and to fit with busy work schedules. June 2007 Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit our stand at this years ACPO-APA International Policing Exhibition. The show was a great success and enabled us to demonstrate our unique products to representatives from many different UK police forces. The iPod prize draw has now taken place and the lucky winner this year is Mrs J Rowson from Aegis Engineering. Congratulations from all at Bluestar. April 2007 Bluestar is pleased to announce the recent introduction of the Corvus Vetting and Disclosure module. This provides functionality to manage the Nominal Disclosure Process from start to finish. This includes the creation of all relevant forms and incorporates digital signatures from the start of the process to final sign off. This latest Corvus application should result in significant cost savings for departments and will be followed shortly by an extension supporting Freedom of Information requests.
