Prolific and other Priority
Offenders (PPO)
Bluestar has just released our Corvus based PPO
application that enables organisations to effectively manage resources
in line with the Home Office PPO strategy. This focuses on the relatively
small number of people who cause a disproportionate amount of crime
and disorder in our communities.
The Bluestar PPO
application combines a wealth of stand-alone features with optional
integration to our main product range for extended functionality.
It caters for the complete case 'lifecycle' from identification
and nomination (using customer specific scoring strategies), initial
evaluation (including the production of standard documentation for
partner agencies) and subsequent management using structured tasking
and closure.

Corvus Analyser
One of Bluestar's additional services is our
capabilities in the area of data auditing, quality and analysis.
A number of in-house tools assist us in delivering an exceptional
service within short timescales. Many of the utilities themselves
have arisen from the Corvus configuration tools that are used to
define customer specific applications.
The Corvus Analyser tool allows Bluestar consultants
to perform a range of analysis and auditing actions against any
type of data, allowing the full spectrum of data profiling to be
applied. This includes identifying maximum and minimum values, relationship
mapping, exception reporting and qualitative analysis. The Corvus
Analyser can identify whether the data is 'fit for purpose' (often
when the current use is not that originally intended) and, as appropriate,
help to deliver a strategy for data inclusion and quality improvement.
