SEV Groups Introduced

Bluestar is pleased to announce the introduction of SEV Groups.  This new feature of SEV allows users to create logical groupings of SEV entities which can represent organised crime groups, targeted locations, stolen vehicles or any other type of grouping.  The true power of the feature stems from the ability to track activity across all members of the group from one utility, giving you a full picture of the members activities.  There is no limit to the entities which you can link, giving you the freedom to track people along with the assets they use and therefore to establish who else uses these same assets.

The nature of the application means that security is of the utmost importance.  As you would expect SEV Groups comes with a multitude of access controls, different levels provide a baseline of security for simple management with fine grained user level controls to manage those exceptional cases.  Optionally users can attach new information to groups that they can't see which allows valuable information to be obtained from a much wider range of sources without compromising the secure access to this data.

Due to the specialist nature and security requirements of SEV Groups, it does not form part of the default configuration of SEV, please contact us for more information.
